“—I’m so sorry… for having to leave you all alone.”

That mysterious voice echoed through a place so strange that none of the senses could perceive a single thing. It was as though only a soul remained, drifting along the current of a dense and endless emptiness. And yet, it longed to touch the source of that voice. It longed to gaze upon it. It longed to hold it close.

But a soul alone could grasp nothing. It could not reach out. It could not call out. It could not even look upon what it yearned for. And even though it felt that way so deeply—

“—Farewell… I love you more than anything.”

A warmth of indescribable tenderness embraced that soul. Then, little by little, that warmth faded away, leaving behind only a lone soul, still drifting onward in solitude…
